Razbijmo cincanje pred twitter vpis-om v nekaj uporabnih korakih s pojasnili in razčlembami fraz ter nasveti o twitterju – tvitanju.

Twitter je kratka tekstovna, za dolžino SMS-a, komunikacija na spletu. Tvitaš lahko prek navadneg računalnika ali mobilno.

Tviter račun, ki ob odprtju vpisu ( twitter signup) zahteva nekaj minimalnih, osnovnih podatkov in veljaven elektronski naslov email.
Following vs Followers
Število sledilcev in sledenj. Komu slediš (you Following) ti in kdo sledi (Followers you) tebi?
Kaj se dogaja?
140 tweet znakov (nekaj let pozneje 280 znakov) omejuje twitteraša na kratke povzetke, ki jih pišejo v okno pod What’s happening?. Lahko so povzetki prispevkov spletnih portalov, blogov… z dodano link povezavo, skrajšanim (short url) url naslovom. Tviti nisi le povzetki, ampak in še zlasti raznorazni komentarj, kritike, nanizani klišeji, samovšečne pripombe ali celo karikirano friziranje lastnega ega. Karkoli, a še vedno omejeno na 140 (280) znakov, zato predolg url naslov krajšamo. Twitter ga deloma skrajša že sam, a bolj varčno je, če link-url skrajšaš pred objavo.
Kje skrajšati (short) link povezavo? V url v skrajševalniku! Skrajševalniki url:
Timeline; časovnica kjer se zvršča vsa vsebina tweets , retweets, reply…
Retweets; tuj tvit ponudiš v branje svojim sledilcem
Reply – komentar-odgovor na tweet. Vključuješ se v debato, odgovarjaš in pametuješ po mili volji, sodeluješ v prepiru ali ponujaš nasvet, karkoli že
@Mentions; zbrani vsi tweeti, na katere prejmeš odgovor, repliko ali si omenjen v debati
Slike-video na twitterju
Kako na twitter dodajaš fotografije-fotke, video posnetke?
Vpišeš se na sorodno platformo, ki jo najdeš v nadzorni twitter plošči ali greš na spletni naslov- direktna uporabna stran (nekaj let kasneje za hrambo multimedije skrbi že twitter sam):
Vpis gre s twitter uporabniškim računom aka app avtorizacijo. Slediš jasnim navodilom. Profili se na koncu avtomatično povežejo.
Mobilno tvitanje.
Kako tvitam z mobitelom?
Twittaš lahko tudi mobilno prek mobile twitter user – m.twitter.com (mobile.twitter.com) , ki jo ponuja mobilna stran twitterja . Za mobilno tvitanje ni potreben android GSM aparat ali iPhone, kot pompozno oznanjajo pametni lastniki pametnih telefonov. Vsak novejši GSM aparat, ki podpira nekaj osnovnih aplikacij, vključno z MMS, je dovolj pameten za mobilno twittanje. Torej, tvitaš lahko tudi z Nokia N95 ali E63…

Ker twitter in tvitanje načeloma velja pri širši komunikaciji za precej raztreseno komuniciranje, si je twitter omislil hashtag. Vsaka vroča – aktualna – tema ima unikaten hashtag. Določi ga tisti, ki temo sproži ali pa se zanj kompromisno odločijo uporabniki, ki želijo, da jih ob imenovani frazi spremlja oz. se jim pri debati pridruži ves planet.
Primer; pod hashtag #vreme se non stop rola na temo vreme, pod #volitve teče debata o volitvah itn…
